Description:
Sheet 1 of a set of three architectural drawings entitled "Wesson Ave. View of a Three Story, Eight Stores & Sixteen Apartment Building." The drawings consist of black ink and pencil on vellum paper and show a front elevation view of the proposed building as well as floor plans for each of the three floors. The proposed building was located at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Wesson Avenue and shows the name, "Soldoris," over the apartment entrance doorway on Wesson Avenue. The plans were drawn at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," and are dated 1922.

"June 1896, 251 Wood.," is handwritten along the bottom of the matting. "Mrs. R.W. Allen's Hair Goods, Detroit," is handwritten on the verso.
