Times and fares are listed for the Detroit United Railway's Flint Division, Orchard Lake Division, Pontiac Division, and Wyandotte Division; the Rapid Railway System and its Shore Line Division; the Detroit Monroe and Toledo Short Line Railway; the Tecumseh, Windsor, Sandwich and Amherstburg Railway; the Detroit, Jackson and Chicago Railway; the Lake Shore Electric Railway; and the Jackson, Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Division of Michigan United Railways. A red illustration of a interurban streetcar traveling at night with a city in the background is on the cover. Advertisements, most prominently for hotels, are also contained within.

- Booklet (2 copies). The Fourth Annual Report of the Public Lighting Commission of the City of Detroit, Michigan, a 70 page booklet. Within are charts, and graphs detailing the operations of the Public Lighting Commission for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1899. Also included are photographic plates depicting a the exterior of the office and station buildings, generator room, a boiler room, details of streetlight fixtures, a moonlight tower, a crane light, a center suspension light, a post light, and plans of the public lighting station.

- City of Detroit, Fire Commission appointment certificate, printed by the Calvert Lithograph Company, and issued to William Duncan, on April 1, 1867, for the term ending April 1872. The certificate contains the signatures of Controller Emery J. Garfield, and Mayor Alexander Lewis, a metallic gold embossed seal of the City of Detroit, engraved imagery from the seal, affixed sepia-toned head-and-shoulder portrait photographs of the fire commissioners William Duncan (top left), James W. Sutton (lower left), Theodore Hinchman (top right), and Lucretius H. Cobb (lower right). A handwritten note along the top edge of the certificate misidentifies the men as Joseph Godfrey, Peter Henkel, Benjamin Vernor, and Jerome Croal. The certificate is mounted on linen.

- Color postcard depicting Officers' Row at Fort Wayne with three children on the sidewalk and several large trees. Printed on verso: Officers' Row, Fort Wayne. Situated inside the limits of Detroit, on the banks of the river, is historic Fort Wayne, one of the regular posts of the United States army. A portion of the fortifications dates back to the territorial days, including the old barracks and a winding maze of subterranean passages leading to the magazine. The officers' quarters face the parade ground, which slopes down to the river. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Nov 24, 1912.

- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Rigging Plan, Steamer No. 7." The drawing shows a port side exterior profile view of the proposed three-masted, propeller-driven steamship, William Chisholm. The drawing was prepared by the Globe Shipbuilding Company (Globe Iron Works) of Cleveland, Ohio, at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot. Overall ship dimensions are shown in a table in the lower left corner of the sheet.
