- December 1920, issue of the Detroit Masonic News featuring an illustration of a pen writing out a check with the caption, "New Working Tool of Detroit Master Masons," surrounded with an elaborate green border filled with masonic symbols and a scrollwork design. Within its 56 pages are articles concerning the ground breaking for the new Masonic Temple, plans to build a statue of Robert Burns in Cass Park, as well as news of the various lodges and orders in Detroit. Numerous advertisements for local businesses are peppered throughout.

- Print, mounted on board. The print is of an engraving showing "Lake Coast Defences. Fort Wayne, Near Detroit, Michigan. - Sketched by A.H. Askins." Shows the east bastion of the star fort at Fort Wayne with a view to the northeast. Two officers are shown talking on the upper level of the fort with a troupe of soldiers marching below. The skylines of Detroit and Windsor can be seen in the distance. "Nov. 1, 61" is hand written in pencil on the bottom right corner.

- Universal Steamship Company consignee memo for an order from Valentin Blatz Brewing Company shipped from Milwaukee to the E.J. Dossin Company in Detroit, dated August 3, 1923. The document lists the shipment as one packages of "10x5 VT Signs." A Universal Steamship Company stamp at the bottom of the document has been crossed out.

Handwritten message on verso reads, " Hello Sport, How are you anyway? No, I am not dead, but working. Haven't been home in 6 wks but am going next Sunday. The Boss and his wife at Ann Arbor yesterday to the [Pennsylvania] game great defeat 29 to 0. How are you coming this semester with the Bostonians? - Photograph. Sepia-toned gelatin silver photo of a parade float that was part of the Detroit Bi-Centenary Parade. The float consists of a decorated wagon that is being drawn by four horses and carrying six people who are wearing costumes to represent different people of the world. A seventh person on the float is dressed as Uncle Sam. A sign on the side of the wagon notes "Search Light Parlor Match, Made by the Diamond Match Co." A sign on the back of the wagon notes "Factories: America, Switzerland, England, Africa, Germany, Peru, Brazil." The horses are all wearing signs that note "Diamond Match Co." Four more costumed people are standing in front of the float and horses. A brick apartment building is visible in the background, but the address and street name are not known. A stack of clay sewer pipe sections and fittings is visible in the lower right corner of the photo. Handwriting on the verso notes "Diamond Match Co., Search Light Parlor Match."
