- Certificate, on paper mounted on board, given to Joseph Belanger, French Consular Agent from Detroit, by Edmond Bruwaert, French General Consular, in Chicago in 1889. The full text of the certificate is in French. It is stamped with the seal of the Consulat de France a Chicago on the bottom center.

- One annual report entitled, "Report of the Annual Collection for the Education of the Seminarians of the Diocese of Detroit." The softcover report has a light red cover and is 68 pages in length. The report lists the names of all of the parishes in the diocese, managing priests for each parish, and the names of major donors (one dollar or more) in each parish. There are several pages of advertisements inside the front and back cover pages.

- One blueprint drawing of a proposed passenger steamship, "Detroit & Buffalo." The conceptual drawing shows a port side view of the sidewheel steamship while underway as a D&C seaplane flies overhead in the upper right corner. The drawing is signed by its designer, "Frank E. Kirby, 1922," in the lower right corner.

- World War I poster with the messages, "Sugar Means Ships" and "The Consumption of Sugar Sweetened Drinks Must Be Reduced." The poster shows a sketch of a woman who is drinking from a straw that is causing sugar-laden ships to be diverted to the United States which would have otherwise been available to carry supplies for the war effort in Europe. Additional printed text notes "For your beverages 400 million lbs. of sugar were imported in ships last year. Every ship is needed to carry soldiers and supplies now." The artist's name, "E. Fuhr," is shown near the lower left corner of the sketch. Small printed text in the upper left corner of the poster shows "United States Food Administration." Small printed text in the lower left corner shows "The Carey Printing Company, New York."

- This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained a 5-page letter that was written by James Schermerhorn who was the editor of the TO-DAY newspaper. The front of the envelope is entitled in handwritten text, "Newspapers Now and Then" and is signed and dated by James Schermerhorn.

- One folio series entitled, "Detroit Illustrated," that was published in 14 parts by H. R. Page & Company of Chicago. This folio, Part Fourteen, has a gray/green paper cover that is printed in brown text. - One sheet music booklet entitled "Christmas Chimes" which includes "Words and Music by Eva Best, Written for the Detroit Free Press." The cover page is printed in black ink on slightly yellowed paper. The two interior pages and the back page show the printed music as well as the words for the title song. Printed text at the bottom of the cover page shows that the music was a "Supplement to the Detroit Free Press."

- One booklet entitled "Specifications - The Roney Land Company for a Solid Brick Single Residence Building, Located on the South Side of Hawthorne Road About 1000 Ft. From Jefferson Avenue, Lot 8, Hawthorne Park Sub., Grosse Pointe, Mich." The architectural specifications (Job 276, Set No. 1) are bound in a booklet that has three brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of heavy tan paper and includes typewritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "J. Lawson Miller, Architect." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 76 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.
