- Newspaper article, mounted on board, "Batwing 11, Giant Monoplane of the Future: Mysterious New Self-Contained Aircraft With a Single Wing, Expected to Make 200 miles an Hour, to Revolutionize Aviation, and Set the Whole World A-Wing." The article includes a drawing of the "Pictured idea of the new Batwing monoplane - consisting of a single internally braced wing seven feet thick and with a lateral spread of forty feet, in which engines, crew, passengers and all cargo will be placed. It is the invention of William B. Stout, aeronautical engineer, aided by Orville Wright, 'Father of Aviation.'" Text written in black marker on the backing above the article reads "Detroit, Michigan Free Press Sunday, June 13 1920."

- One blueprint drawing entitled, "Midship Section, Mexican River Steamer." The drawing shows a cross-section view of the hull and decks of the sternwheel river steamship. Dimensions of the various structural members are also shown. The title block indicates that the plan was prepared at a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 foot and is dated January, 1902. The name, "H. S. Taft," is also shown and may be the name of the steamship.

- One pencil drawing (Sheet 2 of 20) of the proposed "Biautogo" motorcycle. The sketch shows profile and end views of the proposed vehicle along with sketches of various components. Design notes, part labels, and other details are also shown. A handwritten note in black pen across the lower edge reads "One of a number of original drawings for the Biautogo made in Europe showing 8 cyl. V motor and study of gyroscope installation." The drawing is signed "JSB [James Scripps Booth], Paris, January, 1912," near the lower left corner.

Printed on verso: View of Grand Circus Park, showing Pingree and Maybury Monuments, Central M. E. Church and Y. M. C. A. building. This park is the oldest of Detroit's recreation grounds and it situated in the heart of the city through which runs the famous Woodward avenue. This park was set aside by the city in 1854 and is enjoyed by thousands in summer on account of its magnificent shade trees. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked May 23, 1921.
