- Half folded program for a performance by violinist Jan Kubelik at the Light Guard Armory, on Thursday Februrary 22, 1912, printed on newsprint. Kubelik is pictured on the cover. The songs slated to be performed are printed inside, along with information on upcoming performances. An advertisement for the Ganapol School of Musical Art is printed on the back cover.

- Ribbon-bound Christmas dinner menu from the Hotel Wayne. The menu's cover is printed with the message, "A Bright and Happy Christmas to you and Good Luck," beside an image of a clover, a candle, and a swastika, all contained in an embossed border surrounded by embossed bells, ribbons, and holly. An image of bells, and a wreath over a snowy landscape is printed on the first page. A program for a performance by The Straub Sister's Orchestra directed by Veronica Straub, and a menu consisting of oysters and clams, soups, relishes, entrees, roasts, potatoes, vegetables, salads, pastry, and dessert follow.

- This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained a 12-page letter that was written by Mrs. Sidney Trowbridge Miller. The front of the envelope has a handwritten title, "Detroit's Social Life," and is signed "Mrs. Sidney Trowbridge Miller." The envelope is dated "December thirty first 1900."

- Memorial card for Martin Cooney, the former Superintendent of Horses for the Detroit Fire Department. The card consists of a half folded cardstock cover, printed with a small black image of a wreath. A half-folded leaf of paper is bound in the cover with string. "In Loving Memory of Martin Cooney, Died May 1922. Only Sleeping. In the light of God we see you, / Each night we lay down; / We hear Your voice as when on Earth / And see each smile and frown. / And when we are called to join you, / This world and we are thru, / We pray to the Lord to let us go, / As peaceful and brave as you." is printed on the inside in gold on black. "Martin Cooney died May 21, 1922," is handwritten inside the cover.

- One indenture, dated May 4, 1920, between the Canada Southern Bridge Company of Michigan and Canada, and Harris T. Dunbar of Buffalo, New York. The document consists of two pages of black typewritten text on white paper that has been watermarked "Agawam Bond." The text provided a legal description of Stony Island in the lower Detroit River and indicated that the Bridge Company had sold the island to Harris T. Dunbar for $1.00, but reserved a 150-foot wide strip of land for a future right of way. The document was sealed and signed on the second page by officials of the Canada Southern Bridge Company as well as by a Notary Public. The two pages were bound together in a legal-style, light green paper binder which has three brass grommets at the top edge. Typewritten text on the outside of the binder reads "Warranty Deed, Canada Southern Bridge Company to Harris T. Dunbar" and includes a blue ink stamp from the Wayne County Register of Deeds Office.

- One diary of Russell A. Alger for the year 1866. The diary has a a black leather cover that is embossed with a simple double-line black border. The cover interior is lined with smooth light tan leather that is embossed with a double-line square pattern. The inside front cover contains a flat pouch with a flap cover. The inside back cover contains a loop pocket for a pencil (missing). The diary pages are printed in black text on white paper that show the month, date, and day for each day of the year in 1866. Light blue lines are also printed on each page to allow space for notes. The diary is approximately half filled with handwritten pencil notations that are primarily of a business nature such as cash accounts, bills due, workmen's hours, and meetings. There are also notations concerning the arrivals and departures of various schooners and barges which were probably carrying lumber for his lumber business (Alger, Smith & Company).

- Color postcard depicting the Casino in Palmer Park from across the Lake, with parked cars and people in view. Printed on verso: Palmer Park, where light house is located is a restful retreat of 120 acres and is located seven miles out Woodward avenue. One of the delightful features is its Log Cabin with its quaint furniture. It has many acres of woods, children's playgrounds and a casino where refreshments are served. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Feb 4, 1921.

- One map entitled "Map of the State of Michigan and the Surrounding Country" with a brown and blue hard textile cover. The map shows the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of the state and is printed in black ink on white paper. Pale red, yellow, blue, and green inks are used to color the areas of each county. The map shows cities, towns, Indian reserves, rivers, and lakes as well as state, county, and township boundary lines. The principal meridian and base line for Michigan are also indicated along with township and range numbers for the public land survey of the state. Lines of latitude and longitude are also indicated. An inset map of the "Copper District" of the Keweenaw Peninsula is also shown. Printed text beneath the title indicates that the map was "Compiled from Authentic Sources by John Farmer, Detroit, 1868, 23rd Edition." Separated is the accompanying blue and brown hard-cover entitled "Farmer's Sectional Map of Michigan." Published by Northwestern Map Publishing House and Silas Farmer & Co.
