Cars, pedestrians, a mural of a factory worker, American flags, and a star on a pole with a list of people's names are visible. Signs read, "Practical Patriotism, The Victory Liberty Loan, Sure! We'll Finish The Job" and "Bond's".

- Fragment of the header of a petition to the Detroit Common Council, urging for the enforcement of existing laws against the sale of liquor on Sunday, and expressing displeasure with the Common Council's failure to heed previous petitions on the matter. "18th April 1860," is handwritten across the top. The remnants of a place for signatures is at the bottom of the fragment.

- Dinner menu from the Russell House consisting of a page of off-white paper glue within a half-folded grey cover. An engraving of a man wearing a tall hat, seated beneath a tree with a steaming plate is on the cover beside a banner with the hotel's crest and the German phrase, "Esset und trinket was ihr habt, und denkt was ihr wolt," (Eat drink what you have, and consider what you want). At the bottom of the page within, the menu suggests running productions at nearby theatres, "Lyceum Theater - 'Friends.' Temple Theater - High Class Vaudeville." The page also includes the note, "Done in the Russell House Print Shop, Tuesday, June 20, 1905."

A gold state of Michigan seal has been affixed to the lower left corner.
