- One conceptual drawing for the powertrain layout in an automobile with a transverse mounted engine. The drawing consists of black pencil on vellum paper and shows a profile view of a car body along with a possible powertrain layout. Various design notes are also shown. A handwritten note on the center left side of the plan sheet shows "2 cyl. V motor set transversely." Advantages and disadvantages of the transverse motor are summarized in the two tables in the upper left corner of the sheet. A handwritten note along the bottom edge shows "Friction drive application to cyclecar lines giving substantially some advantages and doing away with belt." The drawing is signed "JSB [James Scripps Booth], 12-30-20" in the lower right corner of the sheet.

- Postcard. One color postcard entitled "Reflector Top." The postcard was an informational warning to dealers of the Garland Stoves and Ranges that were produced by the Michigan Stove Company. The text noted that a competitor had infringed upon their patented "reflector top" design and that this competitor was in contempt of court. In addition, the text advised exisiting stove dealers not to sell the competing/infringing stove model since the dealer would "simply be buying a lawsuit." The estimated date of the postcard is based upon the postmark.

The Horticulture Building at Belle Isle is well worth seeing. It is stored with rare and beautiful shrubs and flowers, which has taken the Park and Boulevard Commission years to collect.
