A color illustration of a minstrel seated playing a lute against a pastoral backdrop with heads of a man and woman and the outline of a castle above, and an advertisement for the Hotel Pontchartrain below is on the cover. Information about the production, brief articles of theatre news, and numerous advertisements--including those for the Brush Motor Car Company, the B. Siegel Company, the Chalmers Motor Company, Henry the Hatter, Absopure, Heyn's Bazaar, the King Wah Lo Chinese-American restaurant, Sanders', the Cunningham Auto Company, Stroh's, the J.H. Brady Auto Company, Hupp-Yeats electric cars, and the Detroit and Cleveland Navigation Company--are contained within.

- One blueprint drawing entitled, "General Arrangement of Sprinkler System, Gallery & Upper Decks," for the passenger steamships, SS Greater Detroit and SS Greater Buffalo. The drawing shows plan views of the Gallery and Upper decks along with the proposed layouts of sprinkler lines and sprinkler heads. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "American Shipb'ld'g Co., Eng. [Engineering] Dept." at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated October 26, 1923. The plan number is shown as "65-198."

- Large membership certificate presented by the Knights Templar to William S. Green on March 31, 1873. The document is signed by Commander Eil Garfield, Captain General Euyen Robinson, recorder G.B. Noble, and a Generalissimo whose name has faded. The certificate includes lithographs of knights, a temple, ceremonial robes and swords, and a coffin, as well as a green Knights Templar seal attached by a black ribbon.

- Half-folded, Hudson's holiday menu. Santa Bear is depicted on the cover, peeking over the edge of a table holding a salad, roll, glass, and bottle of mineral water. Within, the menu is divided into the sections, "Non-Alcoholic Drink Suggestions," "Soups," "Light Features," "Salads," "Hudson's Holiday Features," "The Grille," "Specialties," "Sandwiches," and "Desserts." The menu is copyrighted "1986 Dayton Hudson."

- Postcard. Color postcard entitled, "Soldiers Monument, City Hall, and Dime Bank Building, Detroit, Mich." The postcard shows an elevated view of Campus Martius and Woodward Avenue in the foreground with the Old City Hall and other downtown buildings in the background. Fort Street can be seen on the left side of the Old City Hall and a small corner of Michigan Avenue can be seen to the right. Beneath the picture, there is a colored pennant along with the words "We Are All Well at Detroit; Trust You Are the Same." The date of the postcard is based upon the postmark date.

- Transmittal letter from C. M. Davison, Cashier, of the Second National Bank of Detroit to the Chemung Canal National Bank, dated June 7, 1867. The letter is handwritten in black ink and includes the engraved letterhead of the Second National Bank of Detroit. It appears that the bottom portion of the page has been torn off. The text of the letter is transcribed as follows: "Detroit, Mich., June 7, 1867 Chemung Canal Nat. Bk. I enclose for colln. [collection?] and returns 7185 H. C. Spaulding on your 119 29 reply. C.M. Davison"

- One blueprint drawing entitled, "1909 Excursion Str. [Steamer]." The drawing shows plan views of two decks and a port side interior profile view of the passenger steamship, Ste. Claire. The drawing was prepared at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and was signed by the designer, "Frank E. Kirby, 1909," in the lower right corner. Ink stamps in the lower right corner show "New Drawing No.: Tol. 116-59-0-1, Tube No. 1" and "Apr. 18, 1951."
