Eagler's barn”. 1928 torn down.” Image shows an old barn with various posters and billboards on the outside walls, including Donovan's Mens & Womens Clothing, 71-73 Division Ave. S.; American Beauty Malt Extract, and Thurston the famous magician's 20th annual tour at Powers Theatre starting Sunday, Mar. 28. The back of an old car can be seen parked inside the open garage door. Some snow and puddles on the ground.

- Notes:
- Fox Deluxe Brewing Co., at 26 Michigan St. NW in the Belknap/Lookout neighborhood. It was located on the south side of Michigan Hill, just down from Immanuel Lutheran Church, at the corner of Ionia Ave. The building was originally built in 1892 for the Grand Rapids Brewing Co., but went vacant during Prohibition. GR Brewing reopened for a few years when Prohibition was repealed. The Michigan Brewing Co. operated the plant from 1935 until 1940, when Fox Brewing Co. took over until 1951. In 1964 the old brewery was torn down to make way for the State office building, which still occupies the site.

Looks like a two story building in the background against the freight building, in a “T” orientation. The freight building has four visible doors for loading open on the side and one closed on the end near center left in photo. Horse drawn wagons at the doors.

- The first site of the Reformed Bible Institute, located at 1230 Lake Drive SE in the Eastown neighborhood, Grand Rapids, Michigan. A few years later it was used as a student dormitory. The building is currently a private home.
