On the main level of the Rood building, below the Chinese restaurant (Hong Ying Lo) are Fox’s Jewelers, the National Shoe Repair Co. and W.L. Douglas Shoes. Parked in front of the shoe repair store is a delivery van for Lincoln Park Dairy, in full side view. Various contemporary automobiles are seen on the street, as well as a couple of people on the streetcar island.
