- Calvary Baptist Church, when located at 826 Ionia SW (at Antoine) and around 1930 moved into their new building at 700 Burton SE. By 1932 this building was sold to Pilgrims Rest Baptist. It is no longer standing.

- Image shows large squared-off brick building, with fancy brickwork around curved-top windows and a short tower on one of the front corners. The tower is topped with a white railing and a miniature steeple in one corner of the railing. The building has a large front entrance, two steps up, with white wooden doors. An old wooden shed can be seen on the left side of the building at some distance across snowy terrain.

- Burton Height Christian Reformed Church, at the corner of Burton and Jefferson S.E., built in 1922. Along the lower edge of the image can be seen a highway sign for “Michigan US 131,” a public mailbox, and the street sign for Burton and Jefferson. Utility wires for the streetcar criss-cross overhead.

- Burton Heights Methodist Church at the corner of Burton and Horton S.E. The church signboard advertises Thanksgiving services. Parts of adjacent residences can be seen, as well as part of a parked car. A United Methodist Hispanic Christian church meets in the building (2011).

- Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 728 Shamrock SW, built in 1914. The 2011 city directory shows that the building is owned by the Wyoming Spanish Seventh Day Adventist congregation.

- Second Methodist‑Episcopal Church at 345 Second at Turner N.W., built in 1871. In 1961 it was razed to make way for the U.S. 131 expressway and the congregation moved to a new building at 2600 Seventh Street N.W.
