- Signal tower on W. Bridge Street. Square wooden, enclosed tower, crowned with a windowed cupola, with a lookout balcony off to one side. Halfway up the tower is a small 6-paned window. Around the corner from this window is a protuberance that appears to house a bell. Behind the tower is a 2½ story clapboard commercial building, with display windows, the West Side Coal, and the Furniture Exchange. On the left side of the image is a railroad barrier in raised position. A pedestrian in topcoat and fedora is walking along the street in front of the tower..
