- One map entitled "Belle Isle Illustrated - A Descriptive Map and Guide." The map is printed in black, blue, and green ink on white paper and shows a plan view of the island. Roads, lakes, canals, and wooded areas are shown along with the locations of park amenities and various sites of interest. Seventeen small black and white pictures of the island and shown along the top and bottom edges and printed text in the lower right corner gives some history of the island. Several company advertisements are shown on the verso. The map was prepared at a scale of 1 inch = 720 feet by the "Silas Farmer & Co., 31 Monroe Ave., cor. Farmer St., Detroit" and is dated 1895. Separated is the accompanying soft-cover of the map entitled "Belle Isle Illustrated. A Descriptive Map and Guide Published By Silas Farmer & Co. Detroit." compliments of Union Trust Company.

The map is printed in black ink on white paper and shows streets, street names, lots, lot numbers, address numbers at block corners, churches, ward numbers and boundaries, city boundaries, streetcar lines, and railroad lines. An alphabetical list of street names is also shown along with a list of recent street name changes. In addition, the names of former ribbon farm owners (with private claim numbers) are shown along the shoreline of the Detroit River. The map was "Published by Silas Farmer & Co., 31 Monroe Ave., corner Farmer St., Detroit," and is dated 1886.

In addition, the names of former ribbon farm owners (with private claim numbers) are shown along the shoreline of the Detroit River. An advertisement for "Michigan Mutual Life Insurance Company" is shown in the upper left corner of the sheet. Various numbered blue stars are indicated on the map as "Convention Tents" and these may have been part of a Christian Endeavor International Convention which took place in the city in July, 1899. The map was "Published by Silas Farmer & Co., 31 Monroe Avenue, cor. Farmer Street, Detroit, Mich." at an approximate scale of 1 inch = 0.5 miles and was dated 1899.

- One map entitled "Map of the State of Michigan and the Surrounding Country" with a brown and blue hard textile cover. The map shows the Upper and Lower Peninsulas of the state and is printed in black ink on white paper. Pale red, yellow, blue, and green inks are used to color the areas of each county. The map shows cities, towns, Indian reserves, rivers, and lakes as well as state, county, and township boundary lines. The principal meridian and base line for Michigan are also indicated along with township and range numbers for the public land survey of the state. Lines of latitude and longitude are also indicated. An inset map of the "Copper District" of the Keweenaw Peninsula is also shown. Printed text beneath the title indicates that the map was "Compiled from Authentic Sources by John Farmer, Detroit, 1868, 23rd Edition." Separated is the accompanying blue and brown hard-cover entitled "Farmer's Sectional Map of Michigan." Published by Northwestern Map Publishing House and Silas Farmer & Co.

- One map entitled "The Industrial Map of Detroit - Showing Its Manufacturing, Mercantile and Railroad Interests with Shipping Facilities." It has a copyright date of 1904 and was published by Silas Farmer & Co. of Detroit. The map is mostly printed in black text with black and grey line work on white paper that has been bonded to a canvas backing. Various colored lines are used to mark city boundaries, railroads, and rivers. An alphabetical listing of manufactories with location coordinates is shown across the bottom of the map. A red stamp on the verso at one of the lower corners shows "D. P. Dossin, 275 LaSalle Place, Grosse Pointe, Mich. 48236."

Separate from the map is the accompanying blue hard-cover entitled "Guide Map of the City of Detroit. Published By Silas Farmer & Co. Municipal Edition".

The map is printed in red, green, and black text on a white background and shows cities, townships, major roads, railroad lines, population statistics, and the names of property owners in the county as of 1904. The map was compiled by Arthur John Farmer and was drawn by Jethro Brown. A brief county history is shown in the lower left and right corner areas of the map.

- One "Map of Elmwood Cemetery, City of Detroit." The map is printed in black and green ink and shows the layout of the cemetery including streets, street names, section letters, and lot numbers. An alphabetical list of subscribers and their lot numbers is also shown. Some individual and family names are shown on the map in larger family plot/private mausoleum areas. A brief history of the cemetery is given along with "Rules of Corporation" and "Rules Concerning Visitors." The map was drawn by Eugene Robinson, City Surveyor, and was published by Silas Farmer Co., Detroit, in 1865. Separated from the map is also its accompanying blue cover entitled "Elmwood Cemetery" which is engraved on the front and back cover.
