- Description:
- The two-story brick building is was built by merchant Joseph Reimer in 1885 and later housed the Harvey J. Taylor hardware store before Taylor moved his store to the west side of Main Street. George Burr operated a hardware and implement store out of this location from 1903 to 1914, when he too moved his business to the west side of Main Street. Burr is pictured to the right. The building to the left appears to be another hardware store, possibly part of George Burr's business. (P-153) see also P-322 [date is approximate] Photograph Collection
