- Color postcard depicting the landing at Boblo Island with the S.S. Columbia docked, and the Café visible. Printed on verso: Bob-lo, Bois Blanc Island, Detroit River, one of Detroit's favorite pleasure grounds is situated in Canadian waters at the junction of Detroit River and Lake Erie. The Island is owned by the Detroit, Belle Isle & Windsor Ferry Co., comprises 225 acres and is equipped with a Casino, Dancing Pavilion, Athletic Field, Bathing Beach and similar conveniences. The fine steamer Columbia covers the run several times daily. A handwritten message is on the verso, postmarked Jul 26, 1909. "65378 Printed in Germany" is printed on the verso.

Printed on verso: The Great Lakes' Most Unique Dock. One of the many attractions at Bob-lo Island. This dock was made from the former Great Lakes freighter S.S. Queenston. The superstructure was removed, the hull filled, sunk and then landscaped to make a beautiful approach to Bob-Lo. It is joined to the Island by a wide canopied cement promenade. Photo by David L.
