- Haslett resident Walter Buxton bought an area grocery store in 1909, in addition to operating a mule-drawn grocery wagon that he took around Meridian Township. The photograph shows Buxton and his wagon at the Netzloff property at the corner of Hulett and Jolly roads.

- View of the same block as 2015-06-003.V6.075 but taken four year's later. Lansing Broadcasting Co. is still present in a building holding several businesses in addition to their WILS-AM radio station: Verra-Kleen Cleaners, and Baucom Barber; all used 407 as their address. Next, Vandervoort Marine Sales replaced the Dura-Chrome Dinette Co. at 417. Michigan Liquor Control Commission Retail and Wholesale Store remained at 417. A&P grocery completed the block at 425 but had received a new exterior. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo.

City Planning Division staff annotated the photo including the arrow drawn pointing to a woman walking beside a store clerk pushing a grocery cart. On the reverse is found, "The quote for arrow: 'Parks in front of National - shops at A&P.'"
