- Clayton tells of learning HVAC in the Navy and describes installing an HVAC system in Fisher. He describes the relationship between the VFW Post and Fisher, helping many of the Vets working at Fisher, selling chicken dinners to Fisher workers on Friday nights, and being frequented by workers for drinks before and after work. Clayton also performed work at the UAW Black Lake center and comments on the plane crash that killed the Reuthers.

- Bill Braman, retired regional representative of the Allied Industrial Workers (AIW) union, talks about his youth and coming to Lansing in 1961 and starting at Motor Wheel in 1965. He says he quickly became involved in the union and became president of his local in 1970 and recalls strikes in 1971 and 1974, the split with the UAW, and getting to know UAW leader Walter Reuther and AIW leader Lester Washburn. Braman also talks about Lansing politics, becoming President of the Greater Lansing Labor Council, and retiring from the AIW 1996. Braman is interviewed by Labor and Industrial Relations professor John Revitte.

- Richard recalls walking along Verlinden St. and having the workers call names from the windows at which point Richard and his friends threw rocks and mud at the windows. He talks about the gardens, running track in the parking lot, and life in the neighborhood. Richard remembers the UAW organizing in 1936-37. He discusses racism in the factories and the union and meeting Walter Reuther.

- Ken Germanson, Allied Industrial Workers international union staff member, AIW newspaper editor, and president of the Wisconsin Labor History Society (WLHS), talks with Michigan State University Labor and Industrial Relations Professor Emeritus John Revitte via telephone. Germanson and Revitte discuss an upcoming conference in Detroit, the possibility of researching AIW materials in the Reuther Archives at Wayne State University, and there areas of mutual research interest. Germanson says that he has recordings which detail the power struggles in the UAW between Homer Martin and Walter Reuther and talks about some of the corruption scandals the AIW was caught up in with organized crime and internal power plays.
