- Two men stand near in Arroyo near Albuquerque, New Mexico where William Velten was murdered in 1975. Four members of the Vagos biker club, Richard "Doc" Greer, Clarence "Sandman" Smith, Thomas Gladish and Ron Keine were convicted and sentenced to death. Later when another man, Kerry Rodney Lee confessed to the crime, the men were released from prison and granted a new trial, Lee was convicted in 1978 and the original four were never retried.
