The captions for the five etchings are as follows: 1. New York Office. 2. Gelatine Capsule Works. 3. Another New York Office. 4. General View of the Establishment. 5. General View of the Company's Office. Page 20 contains the continuation of an article, "Detroit, Michigan: Facts About a Busy City," from page 17 of the same Frank Leslie's Supplement. Page 20 features sections about "Hotel Wayne," "Griffin Car Wheel Company," and "Baugh Steam Forge Foundry." It also features four etchings representing the "Works of the Griffin Car Wheel Company, Detroit." The captions for the four etchings are as follows: 1. View of the Works. 2. General View of the Wheel Foundry. 3. Method of Handling the Molted Iron. 4. Depositing the Wheels in the Pits.

Upham, taken from Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, August 10, 1889. The five engravings, from top to bottom, are: 1. Michigan Car Company's Shop. 2. Detroit Car Wheel Foundry. 3. Detroit Pipe Foundry. 4. Baugh Steam Forge Company. 5. General View of the Plant of these Establishments. The first three engravings are interior views of the plants, depicting men at work in the shops and foundries. The last two engravings are exterior views depicting the lands and buildings of the industries. Mounted on cardboard.
