- Mounted sepia-toned photographic print of the ruins of the Belle Isle wagon shed. Two carriages and much of the roof of the structure are intact on the right edge of the photo, but all that remains of the rest of the pictured portion of the shed, is its twisted frame, portions of the collapsed roof, and piles of debris underneath including many wagon axles and rims. A partial brick wall stands on the far end of the ruins on the left. An intact brick building stands on the opposite side of the shed on the right. "The Baker Art Studio, Portrait and Commercial Photographers, 93 Washington Ave. Detroit, Mich." is stamped on the verso, along with an order number form with the numbers 91393. "Wagon Shed in ruins, Belle Isle, Mar. 25, 1899," is handwritten on the verso.

- Color postcard depicting children standing in the water at the shore of Belle Isle. Printed on verso: With the Kids at Belle Isle. - Detroit's principal recreation spot is an Island in the Detroit River connected with the City by a bridge 8 feet less than half a mile in length. It comprises 702 acres, is over two miles long and boats of over 20 miles of fine macadam roadway which completely circles and frequently intersects it. A fine Zoo, aquarium, horticultural building, swimming and skating pavilions, casino and boat livery are in connection. The City has expended over $1,600,000 on it since its purchase in 1879.
