- One map entitled "Belle Isle Illustrated - A Descriptive Map and Guide." The map is printed in black, blue, and green ink on white paper and shows a plan view of the island. Roads, lakes, canals, and wooded areas are shown along with the locations of park amenities and various sites of interest. Seventeen small black and white pictures of the island and shown along the top and bottom edges and printed text in the lower right corner gives some history of the island. Several company advertisements are shown on the verso. The map was prepared at a scale of 1 inch = 720 feet by the "Silas Farmer & Co., 31 Monroe Ave., cor. Farmer St., Detroit" and is dated 1895. Separated is the accompanying soft-cover of the map entitled "Belle Isle Illustrated. A Descriptive Map and Guide Published By Silas Farmer & Co. Detroit." compliments of Union Trust Company.

- Color postcard depicting the Detroit Boat Club, with colorful flowers in front and the Detroit River in the foreground. Printed on verso: Detroit Boat Club, Belle Isle, Detroit, Mich. The Detroit Boat Club is one of the most exclusive social and athletic organizations in Detroit. Its handsome home on Belle Isle near the bridge was erected in 1902 to replace one destroyed by fire. The building is one of the finest of its kind in the world. Its members enjoy unusual facilities for their favorite sport of rowing, which they combine with sailing and canoeing. Their balls feature the summer in Detroit society. In front of the bridge entrance to the club is one of the finest flower beds on the Island. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Mar 26, 1917.

- Description:
- Booklet describing a proposed "Monument to Be Erected by the People to Commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the Founding of Detroit," copyright Henry Russel 1900. The monument was to be a Doric column twenty-four feet in diameter and two hundred twenty feet high, and was to stand "upon a site reclaimed from the river at the lower end of Belle Isle Park." The booklet features a several page description of the monument and the reasons why it was being proposed, and also solicits funds for the construction of the project, which was estimated to cost one million dollars. A color illustration of the proposed monument can be found on the verso of the first page. Also located in the booklet is a list of the members of the Detroit Bicentennial Memorial committee. The last sheet is a perforated sheet containing instructions for subscribing and sending funds to the committee.

- Mounted sepia-toned photographic print of a parade of canoes on one of Belle Isle's lakes. A chain of tied-together canoes passes heading toward the right edge of the frame. These canoes are wrapped in fabric, and decorated with streamers and garland. A group of other canoeists are gathered on the banks of the island on the right. A crowd of spectators line the periphery of the lake on the left, extending from the foreground toward a small dock in the background. A figure on the on the shore in the background near the center of the image appears to be aiding in raising or taking down a tent. "1906," is handwritten on the verso.

- Color postcard depicting the Cedar Mound on Belle Isle, with people canoeing on the canal in the foreground and people standing along the shore. Printed on verso: Cedar Mount, Waterfall and Canoes, Belle Isle. Belle Isle is in the Detroit River, between Detroit and Windsor, Canada. The Island contains 702 acres and is entirely covered with one of the most beautiful parks in the United States, having some 21 miles of Macadam Roads; a magnificent Casino; Pavilions; Boat Houses; Aquarium; Horticultural Hall and Zoological Gardens. The Island was purchased by Detroit in 1879 and has since then expended $1,600,000 in beautifying it. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jun 22, 1913.
