- Black and white postcard depicting the Belle Isle Bridge on Fire, with several firefighters aboard a fire tug using hoses to spray the flames. A dock which extends underneath the bridge is also caught in the fire. The center of the bridge has completely burned. - Print of a pen and ink drawing, drawn by W.A. Raymond in 1938, titled "Detroit River from the Hydraulic Tower," showing the Detroit River looking south from Orleans Street. Foreground shows two small boats, one with two people rowing and the other with two people fishing. Beyond the small boats are several larger sailing boats on the river, with two of the sailing boats featured prominently. The Canadian shoreline is visible in the background to the left. On immediate right and extending to horizon is Detroit shoreline, with houses and docks in the foreground and the Detroit skyline visible in the background.

- One navigational chart entitled, "Chart of Detroit River" that was compiled and published as part of the Survey of the Northern and Northwestern Lakes (War Department, Corps of Engineers). It was "Projected from a Trigonometrical Survey executed under the orders of Major C. B. Comstock, Corps of Engineers." The chart is drawn at a scale of 1:40,000 and shows the Detroit River from Wind Mill Point at the lower end of Lake St. Clair down to Pointe Mouillée at the lower end of the river. Land areas are shaded in pale yellow. River/lake areas are shown in white and pale green. Distances are given in statute miles. Soundings for lake depths are given in feet. Lines of latitude and longitude are shown in black. Lighthouses and buoys are also noted. An inset chart on the lower right side provides additional details of the ship channel in the vicinity of Amherstberg and the mouth of the Detroit River.

- Black and white print of a lithograph depicting a view of Detroit from the Detroit River in 1794, taken from page 367 of Silas Farmer's The History of Detroit and Michigan. In the 1889 book, the citadel, then-present Wayne Street, Ste. Anne's Catholic Church, the old council house, the brig GENERAL GAGE, and Griswold Street are labeled below from left to right. In addition to the GAGE, a pair of smaller sailboats and a canoe are in the foreground. "S. Farmer" is printed in the lower left, and a blacked out signature is printed in the lower right. "Insert from Collot map, 1796" and "From the original painting in Paris" handwritten on verso.

- Monochromatic glass plate negative taken of the remains of the original Belle Isle Bridge after it burned on April 27, 1915, as viewed from Belle Isle to the west of the bridge, facing northeast. Two spans of the bridge remain standing on the right edge of the frame. One of the bridge's piers stands in the river on the left. Several passenger ferries, canoes, and sailboats are on the river. The Detroit Boat Club stands on the shore on the right, and the Conners Creek Electric Power Plant is under construction in the background.

- Mounted black and white print of a drawing of the Detroit River circa 1826 taken from page 375 of volume one of Silas Farmer's book, The History of Detroit and Michigan. The drawing is inspired by the painting, Detroit as Seen from the Canadian Shore in 1821, by Alexander Macomb. The Windsor shore of the river is pictured at the lower right, where a man sits atop a rock, fishing. To his right, a woman sits inside a tipi. A pair of rowboats are nearby in the river, while several sailing ships are docked along the opposite shore, in Detroit. The twin steeples of St. Anne's Catholic Church rise above the city's roof tops. The western tip of Belle Isle is visible in the distance. "Somner del., from old drawing" printed in lower left. "Copyright by Silas Farmer, 1888" printer in lower right. 1826 printed in handwriting on recto, and "c.1826 Farmer v. I p. 373, based on Macomb water color," handwritten on verso.

The lithograph shows a painting of the Parke-Davis campus (now River Place), at the foot of Joseph Campau Street along the Detroit River with a view to the southeast. Several boats are docked in the foreground of the image, and pedestrians and horse drawn carriages are shown along the perimeter of the Parke-Davis facilities. A circular logo on the bottom left indicates that the lithograph was printed by The Winters Art Litho. Co. of Chicago.
