- In the parade during Gov. Green’s first campaign for governor. A man in a cloth hat driving the stake rack truck of the Builders Supply Co., Ionia, Mich. In the cargo area is a donkey. A banner on the side reads “This fellow won’t vote for Green because he is what he is.”
