The drawing was prepared by the Globe Shipbuilding Company (Globe Iron Works) of Cleveland, Ohio, at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot. Overall ship dimensions are shown in a table in the lower left corner of the sheet.

Some areas of the drawing have been tinted with pale green ink. The sidewheel steamship was built by the Globe Shipbuilding Company of Cleveland, Ohio. The plan was drawn at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated June, 1885.
