- This cyan halftone picture was cut from a page and shows a view of policemen on parade along the east side of Woodward Avenue. Grand Circus Park and the Central United Methodist Church can be seen in the left background. Business names that are visible include: J. F. Hartz, E. F. & W. E. Metzger, and A. A. Gray. A handwritten note at the bottom of the cutout shows "Grand Circus Park, East side Woodward Ave." along with the date, "Jany. 1st 1901."

- Color postcard depicting the Hazen S. Pingree Monument in Grand Circus Park, with pedestrians on the paths and Woodward Avenue on the right. Printed on verso: West Grand Circus Park, the oldest of Detroit's breathing grounds, is situated almost in the center of the city's retail district. Magnificent shade trees are everywhere, real monarchs of the forest that started to grow even before a white man set his foot on what is now the State of Michigan. The Park was set aside in 1854 under the general redistricting of the city. In the foreground is the Statue of the late Hazen S. Pingree, formerly Governor of Michigan. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Apr 11, 1911.

Printed on verso: The Pingree Monument in West Grand Circus Park, was erected in 1904 by popular subscription. The late Hazen S. Pingree was four times Mayor of Detroit, and twice Governor of Michigan. He died June 18th, 1901, aged 60 years. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Feb 27, 1914.
