The two wings to the Administration Building, The Training School and the Gymnasium, were added in 1909.

- Photograph of the front entrance to the Electronics Building (also Electronics Shop) on East Campus of Western Michigan College of Education. Garage doors have been replaced with brick. Located behind the Science Building, the Electronic Building was known by several names including the Heating Plant (1915), Garage, Power Plant, Physical Plant Annex, Upholstery Shop, and Industrial Design Shop. Photograph appeared in the April 1956 Western Michigan College Newsletter.

- Photograph of six female students posing on the Bridge of Sighs on East Campus of Western State Normal School. The “Bridge of Sighs” (later the Training School Annex) was a connector between the Training School and Administration Building.

- Photograph of the original Administration Building and Gymnasium addition. Caption reads: “Kalamazoo Mich. Western State Normal School view from Terrace.” The Administration Building was occupied in 1905. Later, the Gymnasium was the first of two wing additions and was completed in 1908. Together, the buildings were later known as Education Building, East Hall, and Heritage Hall.

- Porticoes of the Administration Building with the Training School and Woman’s Gym additions (East Hall). View looking south. The Administration Building was completed in 1905. The additions were completed by 1909.

- South facade of West Hall, originally known as the Natural Science Building and Science Hall. The greenhouse was added to the building in 1940. The Science Building, designed by E. W. Arnold, was later named West Hall. Located on East Campus, it was the second building to open at Western State Normal School in 1915. West Hall was used as the physical and natural sciences for over 30 years. The last use for the building was in 2006, when the Geology Department used it for a core lab. The building was demolished in 2013.
