- Description:
- This image was taken from a heavily annotated copy of the 66th Annual Convention of the Michigan Bankers Association booklet. It shows the memorial plaque for Benny F. Davis that was placed at the Lansing YMCA swimming pool. Benjamin F. Davis had been president of the Michigan Bankers Association forty years earlier. His daughter attended the 1952 convention to turn the gavel and block over to its new president, During that presentation she also made a small tribute to her son, Benjamin F. Davis' grandson Benny, in whose memory the Lansing YMCA pool and its safety devices had been dedicated.
