A and B: quadriga to right with draped figure mounting, another draped figure either seated within or standing beside the quadriga playing a lyre(?) flanked by palmettes which spring from the handle attachments. Careless incisions. Kotyle (drinking cup) with chariot and draped figures. Said to be from Chiusi, Italy. Clay, Attic Black Figure.

- Modern handle. Upper body has a white, slightly lustrous slip. Reserved: neck and shoulder; two bands below figures; edge and underside of foot. Two rows of rays on shoulder. Band of checker design above figures, Peleus seizing Thetis (?). Branches and imitation letters in the field. Careless incisions. Attis white-ground style.

- Two vertical handles. Mended:part of body modern. Pinkish-buff clay with somewhat yellower slip. Red brown glaze. Two stripes on inside mouth. Lip top: small circles between two concentric bands. On neck and outsides of handles; stripes. Shoulder: stylized papyrus sprays, two broad bands with fine stripes between, zone of concentric semi-circles alternating with concentric chevrons. Lower body: three pairs of broad bands with fine striped between each pair. Spiral beneath foot. Stirrup jar. Clay.

- Pinkish buff clay with polished surface. Brown-black glaze fired red in spots. Applied red: breasts and middle wing stripe on sirens and upper wing stripe of water bird. Incisions. Three horizontal bars on handle. Three stripes above design and five below. Body: heraldic arrangement of water birds between two sirens with dots and buds in field: faces right. Handle and body below blackened as if by smoke. Aryballos. Clay.

- Mouth and part of shoulder modern. Head of a man on left repainted. Surface chipped. Edge and underside of foot reserved. Cock facing left between two ivy leaves on shoulder. Departure scene; nude youth stands facing right holding a spear in his right hand and extending his left towards a figure seated on a diphros, wearing a himation and holding a spear. Behind the latter another figure wrapped in himation and holding a spear. Behind the youth is a trainer holding a forked stick and wrapped in a himation. Applied red: fillets and stripes on the himation. Incisions sparingly used.
