Note: in uncropped but retouched form this photo was used as an illustration in a 1905 Packard Motor Car Co. sales brochure; dash mounted plate reads "Packard Motor Car Co., Detroit, Mich., USA"; button on left horizontal steering wheel spoke is a switch to cut off the spark and thus stop the engine without having to move either hand from the wheel.
