- Postcard. A color photograph on cardstock depicting an elevated view of the Y.M.C.A. Building with the tops of trees in Grand Circus Park in the foreground. Printed on verso, "Y.M.C.A. Building, corner Witherell and Adams Avenues, is the largest and most complete of its kind in the world and boasts of a gymnasium second to none in the country. It was erected in 1908 and has cost in the neighborhood of $700,000." Handwritten note on verso. Postmarked Jun 23, 1916.

- Booklet containing information on the 1879 Y.M.C.A. on the northeast corner of Grand River Avenue and Griswold Street. The booklet is bound in a green paper cover with a oval-shaped cut out in the center behind which is a photo of the building on the first page. Cover also has a border with a flower motif on the right and left sides. Within in the book are descriptions and photos of the association's facilities both athletic and educational, as well as information about joining. An advertisement for Gage and Fischer life insurance is on the back cover.

- This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained an 11-page letter that was written by George T. Moody who was the President of the Detroit Y.M.C.A. The front of the envelope is entitled in typewritten text, "A Retrospect - Detroit Young Men's Christian Association. January First, Nineteen Hundred One" and is signed "George Taylor Moody."
