- This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained an 11-page letter that was written by George T. Moody who was the President of the Detroit Y.M.C.A. The front of the envelope is entitled in typewritten text, "A Retrospect - Detroit Young Men's Christian Association. January First, Nineteen Hundred One" and is signed "George Taylor Moody."

- Booklet containing information on the 1879 Y.M.C.A. on the northeast corner of Grand River Avenue and Griswold Street. The booklet is bound in a green paper cover with a oval-shaped cut out in the center behind which is a photo of the building on the first page. Cover also has a border with a flower motif on the right and left sides. Within in the book are descriptions and photos of the association's facilities both athletic and educational, as well as information about joining. An advertisement for Gage and Fischer life insurance is on the back cover.

- Program for the Athletic-Gymnastic Carnival held by the Detroit Young Men's Christian Association on March 16, 1905 at the Light Guard Armory. An art nouveau-style illustration of a woman with long braids wearing a crown and surrounded by roses is on the cover. Within the members of the competing teams, representing Central High, Eastern High, and Detroit University School are listed along with the games officials, and events. The events include a callisthenic drill, 40 yard dashes, 40 yard low hurdles, running high jump, running high dive, 12 lb. shot put, pole vault, parallel bar, horizontal bar, gymnastic contest, and relay potato races. There are also numerous advertisements throughout. The program was printed by the Seidel Printing Company.
