Bob Schichtel, local sports researcher further describes this photograph: Wyoming Park players #8 Jim Waller and #7 Roger Fountain have sprung a trap on Grandville #14 Jerry Roberts. Other identifiable WP players are #10 Al Peelen and #13 Paul TerHaar. Grandville players in the picture are #20 Dale Kuipers, #13 Bruce Ormiston and #19 Tom Paul. WP#10 Al Peelen would eventually be known as Dr. Peelen in athletic circles. "Doc Peelen" was well known for getting athletes back on the field much sooner than expected by treating their foot and ankle injuries.
