verso: SHP [Stuart Hoffman Perry), father, mother, Geo. H. Stone, their teacher in Pontiac schools; Josephine Perry, dau. Geo & Mary Perry, later married Dr. Herrington, San Francisco, where she died about 1918 or 1920; "Cash" (Cassius) [dog] given by Stewart Griswold's family to SHP [Stuart Hoffman Perry] about 1884. Died of poison 1889, buried in NW corner yard of old home (Florence Ave. Pontiac)
