Karanis; Textiles; Wool
This fragment consists of several pieces of a very deteriorated woven wool fabric. The above measurements are for the group as a whole. The warp is yellow 2-ply and most of the weft is dark brown. There are occasional yellow pinstripes, some divided. There are remnants of a ribbed selvedge.
