Political Campaign Parade Float
Description:
Float in the parade on Ionia Street on July 24, 1926 for Gov. Green’s first campaign for governor. The float represents a boat named “Progress.” Hope Lutheran Church, on the northwest corner of Michigan and Ionia, and a residence can be seen along the street behind the float.
