Larger spots of red with smaller ones of apricot and yellow green on a ground of shatters olive green; possibly “Breccia di Egitto Minuta,” with the ‘Sanguigno’ referring to the preponderance of red spots; traces of ancient (?) wax to hide imperfections; one edge partially smoothed.
