Spindle Whorl?; Fayoum; Spindle whorls; Bone (Unidentified); Pigment

Description:

This smoothly finished bone disk may be a spindle whorl. the convex top is centrally pierced by a hole 0.6 cm in diameter. Top is decorated with two birds outlined with shallow grooves. Between them are two cross-hatched triangles. The bottom is flat and slightly porous. Miscellaneous pigment. Minor scratches and chips.
