- Detroit Firemen's Fund Association membership certificate, designed by the Calvert Lithograph Company, and issued to Nicholas Walsh, and dated April 1, 1905. The certificate is signed by the group's president Guy Northrop, treasurer William H. Comtney, and secretary George D. Rohde, and a red embossed Detroit Firemen's Fund Association seal has been stamped besides the signatures. A color illustration of firefighters using a ladder apparatus and of a pair of firefighters riding on a horse-drawn fire engine are on the left side of the document.

- Detroit Fire Department active duty certificate, engraved by Capewell and Kimmel, and issued to Andrew Werbecht on July 31, 1854. The document bears the signatures of President Jerome Croul, Treasurer Alexander Paton, and Secretary Benjamin Vernor, beside a corroded metallic embossed Fire Department of the City of Detroit seal. Illustrations, purportedly hand colored by Robert Hopkin, of uniformed firefighters, an early fire apparatus and firefighting equipment, the seal of the State of Michigan, and Neptune flanked by two winged monsters are bordered by scrollwork. The number "12" has been added to the helmets of the firefighters and to the apparatus, likely indicating Werbecht's involvement in Woodbridge Fire Company No. 12. - One hardcover booklet entitled "Lake Carriers' Association Certificate of Membership in Welfare Plan and Discharges." The pocket-size booklet has a dark blue cloth cover with white title text. Printed text on the inside front cover indicates that Arthur Page, an Able Seaman (Fireman), was enrolled in the benefit plan. The membership certificate "No. 101107" was issued at Detroit on September 6, 1922. The booklet contains 14 pages of blank lines that were to be filled in by ship officers to indicate the name of the vessel on which the seaman had served, rating, and dates of service. (One line is filled in with handwritten ink text which indicated that Arthur Page served on one Great Lakes steamship between September 7 and October 3, 1922.)
