- Benjamin F. Witherell's handwritten oath of office as Lieutenant of the 1st Regiment of the Michigan Militia. It reads: Michigan Territory County of Wayne I, Benjamin F. Witherell do solemnly swear that I will support the constitution of the United States of America so help me God. I, Benjamin F. Witherell do swear that I will preform the duties attached to my office as Lieut in the first Regt. of Michigan Militia to the best of my abilities so help me God. Benjamin F. Witherell Sworn and [?] before me this twentieth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and nineteen. Rich. J. Smyth, Justice of the Peace -D.D. The document is an oath of office for Benjamin F. Witherell for Michigan Territory in the County of Wayne filed July 22, 1819. The oath is written in two paragraphs and signed by Benjamin F. Witherell in both sections. The oath was taken on the 20th of July and signed off by the Justice of the Peace Rich [?] Smyth [?]. " Lieut. Benjamin F. Witherell's Oath of Office filed in my Office July 22 1819." is handwritten on the verso.

- Catalog from the Detroit Stove Works bound in a brown cardboard cover. A silver border surrounds text on the cover, with the text reading "Detroit Jewel Gas Appliances." Black and grey Celtic knot designs surround a Jewel Stoves and Ranges logo along the bottom of the front cover. Printing of the catalog is attributed to Rogers and Company of Chicago and New York. Contained within it are prices, images, measurements and advertising information for Jewel Stoves and Ranges, as well as accessories for them, from 1910.

- Color postcard depicting an elevated view of Grand Circus Park at night, facing southwest. The David Whitney Building, Hotel Statler, Hotel Tuller, and Kresge Building, are in view. A fountain is in the foreground and many cars are on Adams Street. Printed on verso: View of Grand Circus Park, showing Pingree and Maybury Monuments, Central M. E. Church and Y.M.C.A. building. This park is the oldest of Detroit's recreation grounds and is situated in the heart of the city through which runs the famous Woodward avenue. This park was set aside by the city 1854 and is enjoyed by thousands in summer on account of its magnificent shade trees. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 24, 1919.

- The Merchants and Manufacturers Exchange organization roster. This page is printed in black ink on white paper and appears to have been torn from a membership roster. The front side shows the name of the organization, names of past presidents, and names of actuaries. The bottom portion shows the names of company presidents and the secretary for The Detroit Manufacturers Club. The verso shows the names of Exchange officers as well as the names of the board of directors and various committees. This roster was included in an envelope along with a 2-page letter that was written by Orrin R. Baldwin. He was the president of the American Harrow Company as well as the president of the Merchants and Manufacturers Exchange.

- Color postcard depicting the approach to the Belle Isle Bridge with pedestrians and automobiles in view along the tree-lined road. Printed on verso: Belle Isle Bridge Approach, Detroit, Mich. There is a continual stream of Vehicles and Automobiles crossing the bridge to Belle Isle during the summer months to enjoy the twenty-five miles of fine macadamized driveways that border the shore and pierce the forests of this beautiful Park Considered the finest in the country. - This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained a 10-page letter that was written by Francis L. York who was the organist for Christ Church. The front of the envelope has a handwritten title, "History and Prophecy of Music in Detroit" and is signed "Francis L. York." His return address is printed in black text in the upper left corner. The back flap of the envelope is sealed with two irregularly-shaped drops of dark green wax.

- One set of three architectural drawings entitled "Wesson Ave. View of a Four Story, Seven Stores & Thirty-One Apartment Building." The drawings consist of black ink and pencil on vellum paper and show a front elevation view of the proposed building as well as floor plans for each of the four floors. The proposed building was located at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Wesson Avenue. The plans were drawn at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," and are dated 1920.

- Color postcard depicting Harper Hospital with a parked automobile and several pedestrians in front. Printed on verso: Harper Hospital is situated on John R. Street, head of Martin Place, and is one of the oldest and best known hospitals in the city. It has accommodations for 450 patients, is conducted by a board of trustees and is self-supporting.
