- Pictured is John Feuerbacher in front of his blacksmith shop about 1930. This is located at the present location of the Carquest Auto Parts business at 406 N. Ann Arbor Street. John Feuerbacher came to Saline from Nagold, Germany in 1870 at the age of 18.; Behind building was a second business of buying and selling scrap iron.
