- A scrapbook created by women in Haslett, Michigan who were part of the Blue Star Mothers organization for mothers of soldiers sent to active duty in World War II. According to donor information, each family had a scrapbook containing copies of all the same information. This was the personal copy of Clella M. Weissinger Dickinson. The contents of the scrapbook are: Information on the formation of the Blue Star Mothers association Hand-written biographies of those from Haslett serving in the armed forces Portraits of those serving Clippings about the war and letters from soldiers printed in the newspaper Transcribed copies of letters from soldiers Clippings about the Blue Star Mothers activities Gold stars are affixed to biographies of those who were killed in service. Due to the fragility of this scrapbook, the contents have not been digitized. Contact the library for more information.

- Letters dated from 1943 to 1945, sent to the Osgood family, mostly Jack Osgood, at 500 Butterfield Drive in East Lansing, Michigan. A collection of 49 letters and postcards from various men, mostly men in the armed services, dating from 1943 to 1945. Most of the letters are addressed to Jack Osgood, 500 Butterfield Drive, East Lansing, Michigan, and some are addressed to Mrs. Wayland Osgood at the same address. One correspondent, Oakley D. Thornton, refers to flying model airplanes with Jack Osgood. Most correspondents seem to be buddies from high school and write from various military bases around the U.S. Topics include training, KP duty, specific airplanes, and several letters give advice on passing a psychological exam.

- This small collection includes three 45rpm recordings and a portrait of Normajean Mosher in West Junior High School band uniform with her french horn. The records are home studio-type 45rpm records with brands Wilcox-Gay, Recordio, and Presto, all dating from 1944. Two of the records appear to be from when Normajean Mosher was stationed in the San Francisco area in in a military band, and the third is a Mosher family recording, 1944. Normajean Mosher attended West Junior High, Central High School (graduating in 1942), and Michigan State University. She married Mervin LaVern Munk in 1947.

- This small collection includes three 45rpm recordings and a portrait of Normajean Mosher in West Junior High School band uniform with her french horn. The records are home studio-type 45rpm records with brands Wilcox-Gay, Recordio, and Presto, all dating from 1944. Two of the records appear to be from when Normajean Mosher was stationed in the San Francisco area in in a military band, and the third is a Mosher family recording, 1944. Normajean Mosher attended West Junior High, Central High School (graduating in 1942), and Michigan State University. She married Mervin LaVern Munk in 1947.

- Letters dated from 1943 to 1945, sent to the Osgood family, mostly Jack Osgood, at 500 Butterfield Drive in East Lansing, Michigan. A collection of 49 letters and postcards from various men, mostly men in the armed services, dating from 1943 to 1945. Most of the letters are addressed to Jack Osgood, 500 Butterfield Drive, East Lansing, Michigan, and some are addressed to Mrs. Wayland Osgood at the same address. One correspondent, Oakley D. Thornton, refers to flying model airplanes with Jack Osgood. Most correspondents seem to be buddies from high school and write from various military bases around the U.S. Topics include training, KP duty, specific airplanes, and several letters give advice on passing a psychological exam.
