- The First Presbyterian Church was located at the corner of Allegan and Capitol Avenues. The bell tower had not been built yet in the early twenties, when this photo was taken. This building was torn down when the new one was built on Ottawa Street. The Congregational Church built in 1896 can be seen in the background. The image has been hand tinted.
