Hand-colored illustrations of uniformed firefighters, an early fire apparatus and firefighting equipment, the seal of the State of Michigan, and Neptune flanked by two winged monsters are bordered by scrollwork. The number "12" has been added to the helmets of the firefighters and to the apparatus, likely indicating Specht's involvement in Woodbridge Fire Company No. 12. "Great grand father of Daneil Murray Embach," has been handwritten in the lower left corner.
