- Located on Franklin Avenue. Hedges and Reck Drug Store sold books and other items, and contained the North Lansing post office in the rear, in addition to the pharmacy. A sign for Mrs. G.H. Gregory Millinery ("Upstairs") is also visible. The Lansing State Journal for August 1, 1933 (page 4), published this photograph with a long article about the business. The caption identifies the young man at far left as Benjamin F. Moore, then a letter carrier, who went on to become the postmaster at the office for almost 45 years. Ted Gleason is in the center, and John Reck is at right. Originally part of the Carl Dalrymple Collection.

Dodge home on Grand River avenue, the central portion of which was built in 1853, by James Turner, only a few years after he had put up a crude frame dwelling a block to the east. It was built on the highest point of land in the Lansing area, close by the Indian trail from Detroit to Lake Michigan."

- Built in 1961. Photos are a part of the "Visual Views of the Elementary Schools in the Lansing School District" project of the Lansing Area Community Resources Workshop in cooperation with Michigan State University. It was compiled by Priscilla L. Shaver who was a teacher at Lewton School. The director was Frances B. Schneider. Each included school has a photo of the school building and playground. The album was created to aid students who were being moved to new schools in the hopes that they could use it to know where their new school was and what it would look like. Priscilla Shaver attended the 1971 Lansing Area Community Resources Workshop to aid in assembling this project.
