Printed on verso: Old Well, On Log Cabin Farm, Palmer Park. This land was donated to the City by Ex-Senator Thomas W. Palmer, in 1893, and is situated north of the city at the extreme terminal of the Woodward Ave. car line; is one of the city's favorite breathing spots. Its center piece is a log cabin, which is an exact reproduction of the home in which Senator Palmer resided when Detroit was little more than a trading post. Printed on verso: Capitol Square Park, situated in the business district of the city, is one of the many small breathing spots which Detroit's Park and Boulevard Commission keeps beautiful the year round. It takes its name from the fact that, for several years, the building housing the Michigan offices occupied the property, before the center of government was transferred to Lansing.
