In addition, the names of former ribbon farm owners (with private claim numbers) are shown along the shoreline of the Detroit River. An advertisement for "Michell's New Clothing House" is shown in red text across the top of the sheet. The map was printed by "R. L. Polk & Co., Publishers, Detroit, Mich." at a scale of 2.5 inches = 1 mile and was dated 1895. There is a detached pocket cover entitled "Mitchell's New Clothing House."

The map shows city streets, street names, city and township boundaries, section numbers, streetcar lines, and railroads. The names of former landowners of ribbon farms are shown along the Detroit River along with related parcel numbers and boundary lines. An alphabetical list of street names is shown on the verso. The map was printed by Federal Lithograph Company of Detroit at a scale of 1 inch = 3750 feet and is dated 1919.

The map is printed in black ink on white paper and shows streets, street names, churches, ward numbers and boundaries, city boundaries, streetcar lines, and railroad lines. An alphabetical list of street names is also shown along with a list of fire alarm box numbers and locations. In addition, the names of former ribbon farm owners are shown along the top of the map area. The map was "Published by S. Farmer & Co., 35 Monroe Ave., corner Farmer St., Detroit, Mich." The map was drawn by Eugene Robinson, City Surveyor, at a scale of 1 inch = 900 feet and is dated 1863. Separate from the map is the accompanying blue hard-cover entitled "Guide Map of the City of Detroit. Published By Silas Farmer & Co. Municipal Edition".

The map is printed in black and red ink on white paper and shows streets, street names, ward numbers, and railroad lines. The reference key indicates that blue lines were to indicate paved streets, red lines were to indicate sewer lines, and buff-colored areas were to indicate fire service limits. However, only a few streets near downtown are marked in red and none of the other colors are shown. The names of former ribbon farm owners are shown along the top of the map. The map was "Compiled by Eugene Robinson, City Surveyor," in 1871.

A grid of red lines and letters is also shown which corresponds to the alphabetical index of street names that is shown on the right side of the sheet. The names of some of the old ribbon farm owners are listed along the upper left side of the map. Several numbers and ward numbers/boundaries are handwritten in black and blue ink at various locations on the sheet.
