- One plan sheet entitled, "Framing Plan, Fire Tug." The drawing consists of ink on linen and shows a starboard side profile view of hull and structural framing design for the fire tugboat, George A. Wallace. The title block in the lower right corner shows that the drawing was prepared by the "Manitowoc Ship Building & Dry Dock Co." at a scale of 3/8 inch = 1 foot and is dated December 11, 1915. The plan number is shown as "3630."

- Certificate presented to Russell A. Alger by the Sons of the American Revolution in 1899. The certificate is stamped with the gold seal of the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution. Text of the certificate is as follows: "The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution hereby presents a medal of honor to compatriot Russell A. Alger in recognition of his patriotic service during the War with Spain in 1898. By resolution of the Annual Congress of the Society, at Detroit, Michigan, May 1st, 1899." The certificate is then signed by the President General, the Secretary General, and the Registrar General.

- Sepia-toned photographic print depicting buildings and storefronts along Woodward Avenue. The camera was positioned just north of John R on the east side of Woodward, facing southwest. The Annis Fur Building, housing the Milton Corset Shop; Alex J. DeSaulier, a sewing professional; Stahl's Boot Shop; Albert W. Kludt, optician; the W.L. Douglas Shoe Company; the Ballantine Company Tailors; and Weyhing Brothers Manufacturing Company Jewelry, is on the northwest corner of Woodward and Clifford Street. To the south are the Woodward-Clifford Building, housing an S.S. Kresge Company Five and Ten Cent Store, and Kartsek's Cafeteria; the F.W. Woolworth Company Five and Ten Cent Store; Taylor's; Golden's; the Traugott Schmidt Building; a drug store; Central Lunch; George Yost, Furrier; and Fields Dresses. Pedestrians and automobiles are in the streets, traveling through the snow. The image is surrounded by a thick black border. "Woodward Ave & Clifford, 1916, Woolworth-Kresge Southwest corner, Douglas-Annis northwest corner" printed on verso along with "neg av."

- One set of architectural "Specifications for Mrs. Bridget Stackpole for a Brick Veneered Three House Terrace Building Located on the West Side of Humboldt Ave. Between Perry & Pine St's., Detroit, Michigan." The specifications (Job 243) are bound in a booklet that has two brass fasteners at the top. The cover is made of light brown paper that has a cloth backing and includes handwritten text for the title. Printed text beneath the title shows the name, "Falkinburg & Miller, J. Lawson Miller Successor Architects." The cover interior and outside back cover have printed advertisements for many contractors, tradesmen, and building materials suppliers. The booklet contains 65 pages of typewritten text that give brief descriptions of all of the materials and construction requirements for the project. An index is shown on the first page.

- This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained a 12-page letter that was written by Mrs. Jacob F. Teichner (maiden name: Fannie Freedman). The front of the envelope has a handwritten title, "Hebrew Homes and Charities in Detroit" and is signed "Mrs. Jacob F. Teichner." The back flap of the envelope is sealed with red wax that has been impressed with a square design that contains the intitials, "FCT."

- Half-folded program and dance card for the 1875 Michigan State Firemen's Tournament Ball held by the Jackson Fire Department at Union Hall on Wednesday, September 8, 1875, featuring music by Professor Beck's Orchestra. A list of dances and spaces to write the name of a partner are contained within. Floor managers, room managers, and members of the committee of arrangements are listed on the back.

- This slightly yellowed paper envelope contained a 12-page letter that was written by Mrs. John Vallée Moran (née Emma Etheridge). The front of the envelope is addressed "To Hon. Wm. C. Maybury, Mayor" and is entitled, "The American Mother in Detroit, from Mrs John V. Moran." The back flap of the envelope is sealed along its entire edge with an irregularly-shaped line of red wax.
