- Old livery barn at 944 S. Division. Clapboard two-story building with brick front. Part of the clapboard siding and the first floor of the brick have been painted white. Sign over the entrance says “944 Used Cars”. Above the entrance is a bay window, and above that is the year “1890”. On the roof above the bay window is a decorative peak, with finials on both sides, and at the corners of the roof are graduated scallop moldings. Various signs are displayed on the front and especially the side of the building, including “Ajax cord tires”, “Brookfield butter”, “Old Nick cigars”, and various theatrical events. - Exterior view of Kraft Foods Co. at 250 Michigan St NE at the southeast corner of Lafayette in the Belknap/Lookout neighborhood in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The company distributed Kraft cheese, Kraft dressing products and Parkay margarine. The building was taken over one year later by Gordon Food Service. Sitting in front of the building was the Walter Finger service station selling City Service products. The site is currently part of the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus.

- The Hotel Browning was built in 1917 by Alvah Brown. It had 250 rooms and shops on the street level. It also had a four-lane bowling alley and a billiard room. The Ferguson-Droste-Ferguson Hospital bought the building in 1938, and continued for some time to operate some of the space as a hotel. The building is located at 72-80 Sheldon Ave SE in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. Photo circa 1938.
