- Campaign election leaflet against Franz von Papen and in support of the NSDAP and Hitler during the Reichstag elections of November. It claims that under Papen the wages will be lowered so far down that working German families would no longer be able to survive. It tells the voters to fight for the removal of the capitalistic economy that exploits them and to embrace the system of National Socialism.

- Aelfric describes the life and death of Saint Martin in his homily for the feast of the saint (Depositio Sancti Martini Episcopi; November 11) in the Second Series of Catholic Homilies. An author's apology (Excusatio Dictantis), in which Aelfric explains that he will offer no more homilies for specific feast days, follows this text in two of the manuscripts; the apology is also to be found in a third manuscript that does not include the text on Martin.
